Great food, is a reminder of what TRUE BBQ should taste like. They gave yummy cakes that we got too.
Small, hole in the wall location; but well worth the time for the taste. We compare all other pit masters against Neals & Zero compare to Neal's.
Every weekend we get BBQ, cake & slaw. Not going to change & we are unwilling to try others! -

We were traveling to the coast and wanted some BBQ for lunch. This was the only place that had 5 stars so we picked it, even though it was a bit off 20. My husband loves to eat where the locals eat when we travel....this was definitely a locals hang out and not much to write home about when we drove up. I was hesitant and my husband couldn't wait to go in. He always asks what they are famous for and orders that. It was their Hash over rice. He loved it. I got the BBQ plate and it was really good....the Mac and Cheese was to die for! We ended with the Cream Cheese Brownie....the sales girl said it was addictive and she was right. We will definitely be back the next time we are driving thru!!

Always good BBQ here and the hash is the BEST and has spoiled me for anyone else's! The service is always friendly and welcoming. It's a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but never had a complaint in the over 20 years we've been coming here! Note - we have a 30 minute drive to get there, but it's so worth it! Used them for catering several times and the quality is just as good and the prices can't be beat!

I have been going to Neal's ever since I can remember! It has always been my favorite BBQ joint! We couldn't wait for the weekend to roll around just so we could go. They are only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The earlier you go the better, because once they sell out that's it! And they will sell out!
If you are looking for simply good BBQ with all the fixin's, and great sweet tea too, here's your spot! -

The place for CatFish!! It's really unfair I guess to not give 5 stars for my catfish but taking everything into account I'm rating it 4. Like I said the place for catfish, I got the filet. It came with Cole slaw, fries and hush puppies. The pickles were wonderful but hubby had the barbecue plate and it wasn't so good, to our taste. We will be back but it will be for the catfish.
